After an exciting Saturday of racing here at Palm Beach International Raceway, Formula Kart Production's Florida Winter Tour presented by SPORTALITY was back in action again on PBIR's challenging .8 mile layout. As with the day before, the weather was absolutely perfect for racers and spectators alike with temperatures in the low 70's, a slight westerly breeze, bright blue skies and just a touch of white puffy clouds. SPORTALITY Sponsors PAN AMERICAN Championship
TeamSIR will compete in this year's championship!
The 2011 Pan American Championship Event is the pinnacle of Rotax Max racing in the Americas. Set to take place at one of the Americas premier karting facilities, the incredible New Castle Motorsports Park, located just outside Indianapolis, Indiana.
The 2011 Pan Am Championship Event format and tires will mirror the requirements of the 2011 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals. Qualifying, a-b-c-d heat races, prefinal and final for each category. Parc Ferme will be used. Rotax Junior class will use the D1 tire.
This world class event will allow Rotaxians from all over the planet to showcase their talent and prepare themselves and their tuners for participation at "The Olympics of Kart Racing", the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals.
